Diagnostic Characteristics

Lesica (2012) separates variety nelsonii from teh others by the absence of glandular hairs on the stems; fruits less 12 mm or less long; and pedicels 2-6 mm long.

Range Comments

BC and MT south to CA, NV, ID, WY and CO (Kartesz 2009).
