Range Comments
In North America, known from British Columbia south to California but east in Cook County, Minnesota; the species is in the North and South Temperate Zones (Thomson 1984). Occasionally inland to northern Idaho (McCune and Geiser 1997). In California, from the Santa Cruz Mountains northward to Humboldt County in the North Coast Ranges and Klamath Mountains and Modoc and Shasta Counties in the Modoc Plateau (Hale 1988). Rarely to northwestern Montana (McCune and Goward 1995).
