General Description
Rhizome short, covered with old leaf bases. Sterile leaves 4–25 cm long, petiole ca. half the length, blades 2 to 3 times pinnate, leathery, parsley-like, ultimate lobes elliptic. Pinnules with some secondary veins ending in sunken, white hydathodes. Fertile leaves up to 30 cm long, mostly twice pinnate, pinnules linear with yellowish margins rolled under and often meeting in the center before they split at maturity (Lesica et al. 2012.
