General Description
Rhizomatous perennial. Stems decumbent at base, 30–50 cm. Leaves: blades 1.5–4 mm wide, ligules 0.5–2 mm long. Inflorescence a diffuse panicle 5–15 cm long. Spikelets 2–2.1 mm long. Lemmas 1.8–2 mm long, awnless; palea about one-half as long as the lemma (Lavin in
