		General Description
		Short-rhizomatous. Stems 10–70 cm. Basal leaves long-petiolate; blades 2–10 cm long, oblanceolate to elliptic, entire. Stem leaves short-petiolate; blades 2–8 cm long with 1 to 3 pairs of linear-lanceolate, lateral lobes and a larger terminal lobe. Inflorescence a compound, glabrous to puberulent panicle, hemispheric in flower, 1–3 cm across. Flowers perfect and female; corolla white, 2–3 mm long, lobes ca. as long as the tube. Achenes lanceolate, 4–5 mm long, glabrous, sometimes purple-spotted (
