Fendler's Meadowrue - Thalictrum fendleri
General Description
Plants unisexual or rarely bisexual. Stems glabrous, 20–60(-150)cm, leaves mostly cauline, 3-lobed at apex, the margins crenate, the lower surface often glandular. Inflorescence terminal and lateral, paniculate, bracteate. Flowers unisexual or bisexual; sepals white to green, 3-5 mm long; anthers about 2-3.5 mm long, shorter than filaments. Fruits sessile to shortly pedicillate, strongly flattened achenes, the body 5-11 mm long..
Range Comments
OR and CA east to WY (barely into MT)and south through WY to northen Mexico. Not reported by Lesica (2012) but present in Carbon, Park, Gallatin and Beaverhead counties (Rocky Mt Herbarium website, University of Wyoming).
