Creeping Buttercup - Ranunculus repens
General Description
Stems to 40 cm with hirsute to nearly glabrous foliage, prostrate and rooting at the nodes to occasionally erect. Basal leaf blades ovate, 1–8 cm long, ternate; the 3 petiolate leaflets lobed and toothed. Flowers with petals 6–15 mm long, twice as long as the hirsute, deciduous sepals. Achenes flattened, 2–3 mm long with a hooked beak ca. 1 mm long; heads globose, 5–10 mm high (
