General Description
Perennial. Herbage villous. Leaf blades lanceolate 2–8 cm long. Inflorescence: scape 5–15 cm; spike 2–6 cm long, cylindrical; bracts ca. 2 mm long, glabrous to ciliate. Flowers: sepals ovate, ca. 2 mm long; corolla lobes 1.5–2 mm long. Capsules 2–3 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
