General Description
Annual. Stems prostrate, 5–20 cm. Herbage villous. Leaves opposite, oblong, acute, asymmetrical at the base, serrulate toward the tip, 5–15 mm long, often with a dark spot on the upper surface. Inflorescence: solitary cyathia in leaf axils. Cyathia ca. 1 mm long; glands with white or pink margins. Capsule 1–2 mm long, hairy (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
