General Description
Plants usually from a simple caudex. Stems simple, erect, 20–80 cm. Herbage sparsely long-hirsute, glabrate above. Leaves basal and cauline, petiolate, sessile above; blades oblanceolate to narrowly elliptic, 2–13 cm long, entire or shallowly dentate. Heads 3 to 30; involucres narrowly campanulate, 6–11 mm high; phyllaries linear, sparsely setose, stipitate-glandular. Rays 12 to 35, white; ligules 3–5 mm long. Achenes 2–4 mm long; pappus tawny (
