General Description
Stems solitary or clustered, erect, 20–80 cm. Herbage puberulent to villous. Leaves mostly cauline, sessile, 4 to 7 pairs, dentate, lanceolate to elliptic, 5–15 cm long. Heads 3 to 10; involucre campanulate, 8–15 mm high, glandular, septate-villous. Rays 8 to 14; ligules 1–2 cm long. Pappus subplumose, brownish. Achenes glabrous, 4–8 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012.
