General Description
Stems 1–2 m. Leaves 12–35 cm long, reduced upward. Inflorescence with numerous flowers in spreading to drooping branches at anthesis. Flowers greenish; tepals oblanceolate, 5–9 mm long, tomentose on the outside, short-fringed at the base. Capsule glabrous,1–2 cm long(Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants.
