General Description
Fibrous-rooted perennial forming small tufts. Stems erect, 2–10 cm. Leaves basal; blades channeled, 0.5–1.5 mm wide; auricles absent. Inflorescence a small head with 1 to 3 sessile flowers; main bract brown, greater than the inflorescence. Flowers: prophylls absent; tepals dark brown, 2–3 mm long, acute; stamens 6. Capsules 3–4 mm long, indented on top; seeds with a small appendage (
