General Description
Annual. Stems prostrate or climbing, 30–70 cm. Herbage glabrate. Leaves with a simple tendril; leaflets 8–10, linear, 15–20 mm long; stipules linear, 2–4 mm long. Racemes of 2 or 3 flowers. Flowers blue, 5–6 mm long, the banner barely reflexed; calyx glabrate; sepals linear-lanceolate, ca. 1 mm long. Legume stipitate, narrowly elliptic, 10–15 mm long (Lesica 2012. Range Comments
Introduced throughout much of temperate U.S.; native to Europe. Collected once in Ravalli County (Lesica 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
