General Description
Rhizomatous perennial from a branched caudex. Stems ascending, 5–30 cm. Herbage pubescent. Leaflets narrowly lanceolate to elliptic, denticulate, 2–6 cm long; stipules lanceolate, 1–3 cm long. Racemes globose, axillary and terminal, 1–3 cm long, long-peduncled, non-involucrate. Flowers becoming reflexed, white to purple, 11–15 mm long; calyx villous; sepals linear, 4–6 mm long.
