Acaulescent. Herbage villous, glandular-pubescent. Leaflets 15 to 35, lanceolate to ovate, 8–15 mm long. Stipules white-papery, deltoid, 3–16 mm long. Inflorescence of 3 to 20 flowers, 5–25 cm long including the peduncle. Flowers red-purple; calyx glandlar-hairy; sepals narrowly lanceolate, 2–4 mm long; banner 11–15 mm long.
