Diagnostic Characteristics
Caloplaca stillicidiorum (Vahl) Lynge is considered to be a synonym of Caloplaca cerina by some authors (Hansen et al. 1987 and Wetmore 2007), but is shown to be distinct by another author (Soun et al. 2011) [Macrolichens of the Pacific Northwest, Volume 2 (2017) by Bruce McCune].
