General Description

Plants aquatic. Leaves 2–20 cm long, tapering to a long point. Sporangia 3–4 mm long. Megaspores 0.3–0.5 mm wide (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
