Openly branched subshrub. Stems ascending to erect, 10–30 cm. Herbage: stems glandular-puberulent, the leaves less so. Leaves with axillary fascicles, alternate below, 4–10 mm long, divided to the base into 3 to 9 linear segments. Flowers 5-merous, solitary in upper leaf axils; calyx 6–9 mm long; corolla tube 10–15 mm long; lobes 5–9 mm long. Capsule 3–5 mm long with 5 to 10 seeds per locule (
